Since I was young, my parents encouraged my sisters and me to set our goals high, have a plan in place, and with hard work and dedication, they said we could accomplish any of our dreams. I am so thankful that my parents taught us that nothing was impossible if you were willing to sacrifice and work hard at things you wanted in life. This is the same philosophy that we used to build Hunt Dog Mania.
We always had gundogs growing up, but still found time for piano and piano competition, soccer, riding horses, barrel racing through High School and into College. The times we went out with our bird dogs, watching and helping my dad train or hunt was the thing I enjoyed the most.
Today, I train retrievers, pointing and flushing breeds with my dad and sisters professionally on our ranch for Anderson Ranch Gundogs, located in NW Texas. I am not sure any of us thought we would take one of our favorite family pastimes and grow it into a premier gundog training program, where we have trained over 1,000 gundogs and retrievers. Anderson Ranch Gundogs has become our central point to our entire ranch operations.
Because of our love for gundogs, our family started a clothing line called Hunt Dog Mania to help other gundog and retriever enthusiasts express the culture we all love and want to live our lives. This came pretty naturally since the designs are prints of our gundogs or our customer dogs captured at their best moments out in the field or the water.
I was able to work with another company of our families, Anderson Ranch Graphics to help facilitate the awesome prints we were creating for Hunt Dog Mania. I’ve learned to get outside the box and put out our original work and creativity, that has branded Hunt Dog Mania look, such as our popular diamond series that has been sold all over the United States. By owning our graphics, printing, and embroidery company it allows us to manage the quality of our products and lets us create custom designs for our customers.
Now that my sisters and I have young children we mutually share a concern for the next generation. We believe outdoor activities, such as hunting and fishing are an incredible culture for our children to grow up in. We all like the old Sunday school song. “This little light of mine I’m going to let it shine”. Which lines up with the culture of the Anderson Family. God, Family, and Country.
I am so thankful for my family and the culture we were brought up in and I hope that in all we do we let that light shine for you as our customers and fellow Hunting Dog Enthusiasts.
I hope you will follow our Hunt Dog Mania journey and you will become part of the Hunt Dog Mania culture and family.
Thank you for stopping by and hope you’ll share Hunt Dog Mania with your hunting friends,
